What Makes This Special ᥫ᭡
Two greens, deliberately not the same green. Created green opal beside green-toned wood — one bright and luminous, one deep and matte. Most inlay rings contrast their materials; this one puts two shades of the same colour together instead, which is a quieter and much harder effect to pull off.
Why This Ring:
- Tonal Rather Than Contrasting: Both inlays in green rather than one warm and one cool. The ring reads as a single considered thing rather than two materials competing, which is unusual on a double inlay.
- 7mm — The Uncommon Width: Between the standard 6mm and 8mm. If you've found one slightly too slim and the other slightly too heavy, this sits in the gap almost nobody stocks.
- Polished Tungsten: A bright band either side, throwing light onto both inlays. On a tonal design the polish is doing important work — a matte band would flatten the whole thing.
